Road cycling tour in Turkey with a support car and breakfasts.

The support car will carry the bags & bike boxes between the hotels. And we’ll just ride. Convenient to fly in and out from the same airport, Dalaman.
DAY 1, Saturday, 22 March
Airport — Marmaris
Arrival day
Arriving from the airport to our Marmaris hotel where we’ll spend two nights. This is true for every hotel we are staying in during this tour — as well as the fact that we always have city centre locations near the water. A joint welcome dinner is included in registration.
Two cyclists share a room with twin beds (or an optional double bed) and a bathroom for eight nights of the tour. Breakfasts are included.
DAY 2, Sunday, 23 March
Marmaris
Selection of routes
Marmaris is a prominent tourist destination in Turkey. We’ll have opportunity to both explore the city and ride one of the routes extensively scouted by the tour guides. The selection includes various loops with non-trivial beach locations as well as a longer route to Datça.
We’ll ride 84 km per day with 990 m elevation gain on average. If any of the climbs is too hard, the support car will come to aid.
DAY 3, Monday, 24 March
Marmaris — Köyceğiz
68 km ↑ 570 m
Riding to the town of Köyceğiz located on the shore of the eponimous lake. We still stay near the water — even though fresh, not sea, this time. Naturally, there are some pre-explored attractions along the way. If the route is too easy, we’ll have many ways to make it more challenging.
Every other day we stay in the same hotel. So if you get tired or just would like to spend time off the bike — no problem.
DAY 4, Tuesday, 25 March
Köyceğiz
Selection of routes
We’re making a circle around the lake with two possible ferry crossings and a variation of detours to Dalyan, Ortaca, and/or Dalaman. These routes are not pre-scouted by the guides — but they promise to be the pearl of the tour judging by our remote exploration of the area.
There are no gravel sections in the tour — it’s perfectly suitable to take part on a road bike even if with rim brakes.

DAY 5, Wednesday, 26 March
Köyceğiz — Fethiye
79 km ↑ 1070 m
We move on to Fethiye — which is fair to call the road & gravel cycling capital of Turkey. The route is more challenging than the one from Marmaris, but still should be manageable for everyone with no issues. The support car is there for us should we get tired or need help.
Renting a road bike on site is possible — although it requires some driving around. If you need one, we can take care of that for you.
DAY 6, Thursday, 27 March
Fethiye
Selection of routes
There’s a cycling community in Fethiye, and plenty of outstanding routes, scouted, inter alia, by the tour guides. Also, if there is a place in Turkey for the lovers of specialty coffee and such, it’s Fethiye. One of the routes goes up the mighty Babadağ mountain — if we dare!
There are plenty of flights to Dalaman airport for being a tourist hub on the south of Turkey. There’re also two other airports around.
DAY 7, Friday, 28 March
Fethiye — Kaş
105 km ↑ 1330 m
The hardest non-skippable route of the tour leads us to Kaş — another gem of Turkey if you like nicer things in life. If you ask us, we’ll ride the most beautiful road in the region, so worth the effort. And almost half the elevation gain is within 5 km segment, skippable by the car.
How to get from the airport — and not only that — in the tour chat. We’re adding all who’ve made a booking so that everyone could follow the discussion.
DAY 8, Saturday, 29 March
Kaş
Selection of routes
Kaş has less routes in comparison to Fethiye or Marmaris, but thanks to our friends who have lived and ridden there for a while, we’ll have the best ones at our disposal. The peninsula is a must, and then we’ll see: take it easy or enjoy a bit of suffering for the dessert.
Also in the chat, we’ll remind you what to take with you, advise how to travel by plane with the bike — and everything else you need to know.
DAY 9, Sunday, 30 March
Kaş — Airport
Departure day
At the end of the tour we’ll have a full day to pack and get back to the airport without any rush. Safe travels!
