Gravel cycling camp in Serbia with luxurious disposition and support cars.
Five gravel-riding days with hundreds of kilometers of fully scouted routes — plus two days for getting there from Belgrade, and back, via breathtaking roads.
Not counting the day-in & day-out, we’ll ride 54 km with 1640 m gain a day on average — and visit almost all prominent viewpoints and all four beaches in Tara.
Here’re some photos from our prescouting:
The nature around Tara is outstandingly beautiful — but accommodation is usually unassuming. Well, not this time: we’ll have somewhere special to stay in.
Two cyclists share a room with twin beds (or an optional king bed). Every three rooms have private spa zones. We have a camp pool and a barbeque house on the rock.
Take a glimpse at how we ride at gravel camps:
There will be two support cars to facilitate getting around Tara all at once — only 10 slots are available.
Your guides, Eugenia & Alex
Get in touch with us via the form below. When the number of the interested will reach the amount of slots, we’ll suggest that everyone makes a prepayment to secure their slot. The full payment is due one month before the tour date.
Some of our tours & camps have discounts that are announced and applied in any qualifying case — whether you mention it or not when booking. This particular event does not currently have any discounts announced.
There’re joint expenses, consisting mainly of food and beverages, that are added together and then smartly split between the camp participants — everything is calculated automatically by an app, so there is no hassle.
For breakfast and dinner we can prepare something at the camp kitchen, order delivery, or drive out — there are some restaurants within half an hour from the camp house. Lunch is usually amid the ride at a cafe.
We suggest a gravel bike or an mtb with not-too-slow tyres (you could ask in the camp chat). The gravel nature of the camp assumes 40+ mm tyres to enjoy the rides in full.
There is no good gravel or mtb bike rent in Belgrade, but we could try and source a fitting bicycle for you if you cannot bring your own — DBB is a community of hundreds of cyclists, many of whom have more than one bike.
Women always stay in spaces physically separated from men in our tours — except for those coming as pairs, of course. Depending on the demand, we will try and offer you a discount in an attempt to support female cycling.
If you’ve ever ridden 100+ kilometers a day, you should be fine. The routes are much shorter but with significant elevation gain and varying terrain. The support cars are ready to come to aid should it be necessary.
Sure, our camp is all about enjoying yourself in a company of nice people. If you need some time to rest or do your own stuff, you’re of course free to stay at the camp or ride on your schedule.
August is rather hot in Serbia, so you’ll most likely only need summer clothes. We’re staying in the mountainous area where the heat is not severe, and there is a pool in the camp.
At the camp we’ll have the usual bike maintenance tools and products. However, you should have what fits you and your bike individually. In the camp chat there will sure be exhaustive information on all that.
There is an international airport in Belgrade. The information on airport transfers is provided in the tour chat. From the city, it takes a one-day ride to get to the camp with an aid of the support cars.
That’s a frequent question, and we’re ready to advise in the camp chat in detail. You can be sure that bringing a bike with you is not that difficult and doesn’t require significant additional expenses — the rest are details.

RULE #1 // Use a Proper bike. Well, use whatever bike & gear, but if one crashes while riding an improper bike or without a properly fitting helmet, we will presume his or her sole responsibility — for both potential injuries and material damage — even if the crash was accidentally caused by another group member. There is a reason.
RULE #2 // Proper are Road & Gravel bikes. Improper bikes for riding in a group are: • time-trial or triathlon bikes, or bikes with attached aerobars, • flat-bar or other bikes with wide handlebars, • fixed-gear bikes without at least a front brake, • bikes with potential or actual significant malfunctions.

RULE #4 // You accept the Disclaimer. All the rides are organised by Baranchikov & Partners Ltd, a legal entity that you can sue if anything makes you unhappy.
