Eight scouted road cycling routes averaging 83 km ↑ 740 m elevation, with accommodation details, points of interest, and a detailed description

We have bikepacked this circular route from Belgrade and back twice — in December 2023 for scouting, and in May 2024 in a lightpacking tour — and are going again, for a supported tour, in May 2025 (but this time in the other direction).
The circle is highly adjustable — you could go from Sarajevo to Belgrade instead, do just one half (either of the two) or even their shortened versions: the segments Belgrade—Valjevo and Belgrade—Sremska Mitrovica can be traversed by train in just 1–1.5 hours.
So, this can be 3- or 4- or 6- or 8-day trips — and each in 4 versions — making 16 possible combinations. Actually, Valjevo—Sremska Mitrovica (or reverse) is also a 1-day route fully scouted by us, so add 2 more 7-day non-full circles from Sarajevo! 18-in-1 it is.

We suggest a road bike or a gravel bike with not-too-slow tyres (you could ask in our chat). There are no gravel sections so a rim-brake road bike is totally acceptable to enjoy this tour in full.
We have rental bicycles in Belgrade, from where you can start this tour.
If you’ve ever ridden 100+ kilometers a day, you should be fine. The routes are shorter than that on average. We suggest to make a stop for at least one day in either Sarajevo or Belgrade (depending on which will be the mid-point for you).
There are international airports in Belgrade and Sarajevo. The information on airport transfers is provided in the full tour info. Again, it’s possible to use train to fast forward the Belgrade—Valjevo or Belgrade—Sremska Mitrovica parts.

RULE #1 // Use a Proper bike.
Well, use whatever bike & gear, but if one crashes while riding an improper bike or without a properly fitting helmet, we will presume his or her sole responsibility — for both potential injuries and material damage — even if the crash was accidentally caused by another group member. There is a reason.
RULE #2 // Proper are Road & Gravel bikes.
Improper bikes for riding in a group are:
• time-trial or triathlon bikes, or bikes with attached aerobars,
• flat-bar or other bikes with wide handlebars,
• fixed-gear bikes without at least a front brake,
• bikes with potential or actual significant malfunctions.
RULE #3 // All your picture are belong to us.
People make photos & videos during our events and we will use them in any way your imaginary lawyer could imagine — but mostly in our Instagram — for which you grant us your irrevocable consent if you happen to be there. Club members have the right of access to all said images.
RULE #4 // You accept the Disclaimer.
All the rides are organised by Baranchikov & Partners Ltd, a legal entity that you can sue if anything makes you unhappy. Alexander Baranchikov, the sole proprietor of said entity, will do his best to make you happy, but accepts no personal legal responsibility for that.

If you come to our rides, you accept The Rules. And to enjoy any group ride you should also know the tips.
