Belgrade Bike Rental FAQ
Due to our invidiualised bike fit approach, we don’t have a storefront. The bikes are adjusted to your fit parameters in our non-public space, and then delivered to your hotel or other location.
If it’s not convenient for you to accept the delivery at your place, you’re welcome to collect and return your rental at our semi-private outdoor area in the Belgrade centre (Stari Grad district).

As a general rule, we will reserve the time slot for you without a prepayment. If another potential customer is then interested in the same slot, we’ll get back to you first, to secure your booking.

There is no reliable bike insurance service in Serbia. Thus, we have to secure a deposit from you. While the cost of our new bike is about 7000 €, your total liability is limited to 2500 €.

We only accept cash payments in EUR or RSD (Serbian dinar). Most ATMs in Belgrade are no-commission. If you have bills in another currency, exchange offices are commonplace in Serbia.
The security deposit shall also be made in cash, USD and GBP are also acceptable for that. We will sign a rental contract indicating both the total cost paid and the refundable deposit left.

To adjust the bike to you, we will need to receive in advance certain data from you. Please refer to our short guide for the bike fitting process. Final adjustments may be required at the pick up.

If you rent a bike based on the regular daily prices, it is specifically prohibited to use it in any organised competitions. We reserve the right to track GPS location to enforce this rule.
That said, we offer race packages for particular events such as triathlon competitions (Ironman) or amature-level sporting events (Granfondo). In that case, of course, you’re free to compete.

Yes, but with our written consent only, as in that case we will have to calculate an increased security deposit for you. Please make sure to tell us about your cross-border plans in advance.
Apart from the obvious and formal stuff listed in the rental contract, we highlight the following — and thank you for your understanding.
1. Don’t manipulate brakes if a wheel is removed (in case of a puncture), nor if the bicycle is upside down; don’t touch brake rotors or brake pads.
2. If you need to retighten any bolt on the bike, either use a torque wrench, or rotate the instrument back to the exact position as before untightening.
3. If you need to re-lube the chain, use only the lubricant supplied with the bike; using any other lubricant may result in a chain replacement charge.

As a general rule, no. However, if the bike is dirty to the extent that it’s difficult to assess its condition, it may take up to an hour to have it checked before we can return the safety deposit.
As of early 2026, there is no such requirement in the law. However, we strongly advise to always wear a helmet on a sporty bike (in contrast to a city bike) and/or when riding on a road.

The bikes are well-maintained, and we provide a compact spare kit (learn the details, as well as what else is provided). If you have a problem nevertheless, you’ll know how to contact us.
We currently do not have such an offer. That said, please ask if you need anything like that — we may take that as a cue to expand our offering, while also making life easier for you.
