🧡 What’s the wintering?
A new way to travel and ride bikes with other cyclists.
We, the riders, are staying in Chiang Mai, Thailand from 22 Dec 2025 till 12 Feb 2026. And you’re welcome to join us anytime and for any duration.
We’re planning to ride our road bikes every day — from early morning till lunchtime.
In Thailand, that’s before European business hours. Meaning, you could come & ride with us without even taking a leave at work!

🧡 How much does it cost?
Nothing from us.
You’ll need to pay for your transportation and accommodation, of course, but that’s completely your choice, and we have no money interest.
DBB is a non-commercial cycling community. Since 2022 we’ve been organising up to five rides per week in Belgrade — out of love for cycling and completely free of charge.
Since then, we have started some projects on top of that: non-profit merch to aid war refugees, cycling tours & camps, as well as the first premium rent-a-bike in Serbia.
That said, at its core DBB is not about the money — so we invite you to just join our wintering. For us, the more people riding their bikes, the better.

🧡 Are there any requirements?
To ride with us — just a couple: you should have a bike (your own or rented) and a helmet.
Are you a cycling enthusiast?
Good — we’ve dedicated our lives to cycling so we’ll have a lot in common.
Do you want to come as a complete novice?
Even better — helping newbie cyclists has been our hobby for years, so you have all the chances to emerge from the trip as a well-prepared rider.

🧡 Why that particular place?
Thailand is visa-free for travellers from many countries.
This time of year is very comfortable for riding and living in general — a nice cycling escape in the winter.
Chiang Mai is deemed a bicycle capital — the city with its cycling and coffee culture is a starting point for both nice flat routes and 2500+ meter-high mountains.
We guess that’s why our friends from Hedonism Cycling as well as from Velody make their commercial camps there around the same time. Indeed, that’s the place to be this winter.
Just don’t forget to ping us if you want to come!

RULE #1 // Use a Proper bike.
Well, use whatever bike & gear, but if one crashes while riding an improper bike or without a properly fitting helmet, we will presume his or her sole responsibility — for both potential injuries and material damage — even if the crash was accidentally caused by another group member. There is a reason.
RULE #2 // Proper are Road & Gravel bikes.
Improper bikes for riding in a group are:
• time-trial or triathlon bikes, or bikes with attached aerobars,
• flat-bar or other bikes with wide handlebars,
• fixed-gear bikes without at least a front brake,
• bikes with potential or actual significant malfunctions.
RULE #3 // All your picture are belong to us.
People make photos & videos during our events and we will use them in any way your imaginary lawyer could imagine — but mostly in our Instagram — for which you grant us your irrevocable consent if you happen to be there. Club members have the right of access to all said images.
RULE #4 // You accept the Disclaimer.
All the rides are organised by Baranchikov & Partners Ltd, a legal entity that you can sue if anything makes you unhappy. Alexander Baranchikov, the sole proprietor of said entity, will do his best to make you happy, but accepts no personal legal responsibility for that.
RULE #5 // Obey The Rules.
If you come to our rides, you accept The Rules. And to enjoy any group ride you should also know the tips.
