DBB Jordan Gravel Tour

Amman • 21–29 November • vehicle-supported
6 riding days • 65 km a day • 1050 m of climbing
Jordan is a cultured and tourist-oriented country where one of DBB organisers has an extended family — so we have a solid basis to make a tour full of authentic experiences. November is probably the best month — not too hot in the desert, and warm enough to swim (and float) in the seas.
We’ll meet you in Amman on 21 November. Leave the bike boxes in an organised storage until our return and flight back on the 29th. The route is roughly 60 % of tarmac and 40 % of non-challenging gravel — fully supported by vehicles, which will also carry the luggage.
We’ll spend a night in caves, and a night in a desert camp. We’ll visit famous Petra, snorkel in the Red Sea, and float in the Dead Sea. We’ll be staying at some of the best hotels in Jordan, and have a special dinner with the hospitable local family of a DBB organiser.
There’re easier riding days, on which we’ll spend some time in Petra, a desert camp, the Dead Sea, and have a local family experience. Any day can be skipped or made easier in a support car.

Our accommodation will include unusual places such as caves and a desert camp.
No lack of comfort — even at the desert there is an air-con and private bathrooms.
In addition to that we’ll have 5-star hotel stays, as our standards are high in general.
